Players Trust Pitches in to Help Kyle Schwarber’s Charitable Efforts

The Players Trust recently donated over $30,000 worth of youth shirts and jerseys to Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation in Philadelphia, in recognition of Kyle Schwarber’s dedication to first responders.

As the son of a decorated police chief and part of a family with a long history of first responders, Schwarber, the Philadelphia Phillies’ All-Star DH, understands the sacrifices these public servants make to strengthen and uplift their communities. Through the charity Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes, Kyle and his wife, Paige, help create positive experiences and fund wellness, education and crisis needs for police, fire, and military families. 

Schwarber never hesitates to lend his time and energy to the cause. Last month, he met with members of the Yeager family, who lost their wife and mother, Kristen, in the line of duty in May. He spent 30 minutes with the family during batting practice and invited them to be his and the Players Trust’s guests at the 2026 All-Star Game and Home Run Derby in Philadelphia.
