Student Reporters on the Scene in Philadelphia

The Players Exchange is a collaborative effort between the MLB Players Trust and Level Up Village, a global learning program that helps students connect through unique virtual exchange projects. Through the program’s global connection courses, students enhance their understanding of other cultures, gain empathy, and strengthen their intercultural communication skills.

Two deserving students, Miyako from Japan and Isabella from Philadelphia, achieved a special designation recently when they were selected as 2026 Student Correspondents to the All-Star Game in recognition of their standout participation in the program. Miyako and Isabella will join the national baseball press corps and interview players on All-Star Media Day. In addition, they will receive tickets to the Home Run Derby at Citizens Bank Park on Monday night and the All-Star Game on Tuesday.
